Grab an out of this world BARGAIN while you can!

Colour mis-print leads to rare print at a reduced price!

It's rare, but mistakes can be made at print and when I took delivery of the initial batch of Last Starfighter tees, I discovered that the blue part of the Star League Emblem was purple rather than blue. This was down simply to a bit of Pantone code confusion!

The print itself is spot on and the purple colour goes really well with the black tee it's printed on, but I know as well as anyone that super fans of the Last Starfighter will want the design as I initially intended it.

But, for those that are not that fussed and want a fantastic tee this is a bargain at £13. Don't forget that this is also a very limited edition print, with only 100 world wide!

Sizes are limited and this is expected to sell out pretty fast, so drop what you're doing and head over to the website! - NOW!

P.S. If you pre-ordered the original colour design with the FREE POSTER OFFER, do not worry as I do have a correctly coloured batch on the way.

A NEW Nostalgia League range is launched

So, which side were you on? - M.A.S.K or V.E.N.O.M? Autobots or Decepticons? Jayce or the Monster Minds?.....Well, with the NEW Dark Bunny Tees range, you can start to pick your favoured 'teams'...

Dark Bunny Tees is proud to announce the launch of a NEW range - The Nostalgia League.

This is a departure from the world of movies, with this range focusing on all of those fantastic TV programs, cartoons and popular culture icons of yesteryear. The idea is to represent all of those childhood memories as a variety of ultra cool looking team emblems, usually coming in rival pairs (although this is not strictly standard) and allowing you to pick and choose your favourites...

Your first choice - Thunderians or Plun-Darr Mutants? The first two designs in this new range have of course been inspired by the awesome ThunderCats....

Thunderian Lightning
Available from £18 - HERE

Plun-Darr Mutants
Available from £18 - HERE

This is going to be a fantastic range to create and build upon and I hope you all like the idea behind it and the first two ThunderCat designs. I know the pressure is on to create designs that do those classics of our childhoods justice.....

New design premiering at Big Screen

Chachapoyan Fertility Clinic (Inspired by Raiders of the Lost Ark)

As I revealed recently, Dark Bunny Tees will be at Empire Magazine's Big Screen movie event in August. What better way to start that event off than with a brand new design and one for a movie that so many of you have be asking me about - Raiders of the Lost Ark.

This Chachapoyan Fertility Clinic design, based around the iconic first act of the movie, will premier at Big Screen, with an online release soon after the event. However, with the possibility of selling out over that weekend I will be offering a limited number of pre-orders this week.

I will give everyone a heads up on Facebook & Twitter a short time before the pre-order page goes live.

If you haven't already, check out EMPIRE BIG SCREEN and hope to see some of you there!

Dark Bunny Tees will be at Empire Big Screen

Dark Bunny Tees (well, me) is VERY excited to announce that I will be selling sartorial movie goodness at Empire Magazine's BIG SCREEN Movie Con on August 12th-14th.

The show promises to be huge, with exclusive screenings of upcoming movies, interview panels and a whole host of spectacular events & spectaculars across the 3 day weekend.

Not that I will have any time to actually see any of the goings on down there. It is the first show I have ever done and I am really looking forward to it. Not just for the fact of actually being a part of a great event, but also to be able to get out there and hopefully get to meet lots of you guys.

I have a few plans up my sleeve if I can get everything done in time so I will be making some little announcements over the next few weeks!

Until then, get your tickets - It's going to be great!

Dark Bunny Welcomes Matt Cuttle to the warren...

I am very pleased to welcome a good buddy of mine, Mr Matt Cuttle to Dark Bunny Tees!

Matt has just become a partner (or Dragon) to the business and his arrival will allow Dark Bunny Tees to expand and explore some exciting new avenues. Basically do all of the stuff I have wanted to do with the business for ages, which as a one man operation hasn't been possible up until now.

Matt comes from an extensive media background, presenting & producing television series, podcasts, websites and online videos. His particular area of expertise is within the gaming industry. Although in completely different sectors, mine being in publishing, this is also a field that I was once a part of and know and love particularly well. I also believe it fits extremely well with that of the movie industry.

From humble beginnings co-presenting G@MERS, with Jake Humphrey, Matt now specialises in providing entertaining programming to a variety of terrestrial and satellite channels. He has produced and directed shows for Sky One, Jetix, Disney XD, [.tv], BAFTA, E4 and Channel 4. Matt also produces content for corporate clients and events companies.

He is also responsible for producing Gamesweasel, a fantastic website dedicated to the gaming industry and one any die-hard gamer should check out. Matt is also co-hosting EA's New Official Online series PWNED with Sian Welby, who has also become a huge supporter of Dark Bunny Tees. This is a great series that includes game reviews, interviews with developers & celebrities and the latest gaming news from within the EA camp.

On the set of PWNED with Sian Welby

On his partnership with Dark Bunny Tees, Matt says;

"I'm thrilled to be a part of DBT. I love movies and Alex's unique art style and there are exciting times to come."

I for one am hyped to have Matt on board. He brings with him the skills and abilities to do what I have always wanted, and that is to take the movie t-shirt to new heights. He is right, there are some exciting times ahead. The first of which I hope to reveal later on this week.

Thanks for reading,

Alex

Rocky Collection - Promotional artwork

I know, I know, these are slightly delayed, but after the craziness of an entire house & office move, I finally got the artwork created for both promotional material and, perhaps more importantly, for the gift box sets.

Again, sincere apologies for the wait on getting your Rocky sets, but they are on the way!

Tuesday 3 May 2011

Dark Bunny Tees has moved!....But not very far....

I thought I would just let you all know that for the past few days, I have been moving house and this is why all things DBT have been a little quiet of late. Lets just say - IT'S BEEN CHAOS!

So I do apologise if there are any delays or disruptions in the next week or so, this is simply because I have a house, office & stock room to put back together. Not only that, but due to this current address having no phone line, a full on Broadband service is not happening for another 2-3 weeks - NIGHTMARE!

No fundamental changes really, but just thought I would give you a heads up. For example, the Rocky Tees came in literally a couple of days before I started packing up so I have not had a chance to create the artwork for the gift boxes. This is why there is a delay on these and I am so very sorry for this! I'm getting this done ASAP!

This is the start of a really big year for the Dark Bunny - For a start, I now have a dedicated office!!

If you have any queries, please email me alex@darkbunnytees.com

Many thanks!

Alex

Leon inspired design - Available to pre-order now

"Somebody's coming up. Somebody serious"

"Leone 'Leon' Montana Memorial Cleaning Academy"
Inspired by Leon (1994)

Based on one of my favourite films of all time, I created this Leon design based on Leon's iconic Japanese Peace Lilly and the idea of 'growing roots', just like Mathilda suggested he should.

Of course, being a little bit dark, my idea is that Mathilda went on to set up her own 'Cleaning Academy' which is why I have the roots forming the shape of a sniper rifle!

As always only 350 will be printed and is available on Charcoal or Paprika

Available to pre-order NOW - HERE

Sucker Puff! - Sucker Punch / Powerpuff Girls 'mash-up'

It seemed like a cool idea, so I just went and drew it.....

Not t-shirt related, but with the impending might of Sucker Punch hitting us square in the face very soon, I wanted to do some artwork relating to it. It hit me that these girls would look damn good in a Powerpuff Girl style so gave it a go.

Pretty pleased how it turned out - I just hope the movie DOESN'T live up to the press it has been getting recently........

Sucker Punch is released in the UK April 1st - I've been excited about this movie for ages!

Full Metal Bunny - Digital Artwork / Promo

Had this idea yesterday and got straight on it -One of my favourite movie posters is the iconic 'Full Metal Jacket' helmet poster, so simple yet so effective. Using that as a starting point I painted the artwork above in Photoshop.

Below is the same artwork, but with a few stages of the process. A lot of people ask me how I do things and this may be a little insight.
